What Field!

The Lord promised to never flood the earth. WHAT about ENOLA. :0)! This is our back field with the pond. Turkey creek runs between two of our fields. But not on this day. The creek is out of the banks and running over the field, then running back into it after the 90 degree turn that the creek makes on out land. Crazy. Really this is hard to explain just think under water. Simple as that. It has just rained way to much in AR. And the weather man is calling for more rain over the next few days. Hope not.
Audriann and I are standing in the middle of what use to be part of the field now over taken with water. The tree line in the background is the pond.
Elizabeth with Turkey Creek in the background. It is way over the banks.
And just one last picture. It is nuts here. Check out how far the tree is under water. I am just glad we do not leave near the rivers. Most houses around the river are flooded out. That was last week and with all the rain coming this week it is going to be bad. Things will get better!!! The house is fine and so is Sonny and Ann's.

Just a few!

So I just had to post a few more pictures!

Paul's shirt reads I'm the little brother.
It is hard to see but Audriann's reads I'm the big sister. Tried to get the shirts to both show in the picture but Audriann hates to get her picture taken. This was a beg, borrow, and plea photo with a little bribing going on. Yet one more thing from the Wolfe family!!! Paul is still a ham. Hope that does not change
.

Turning the big 1 !

Paul on his first birthday. Something I am still getting use to. The Wolfe family are not big birthday people. Crazy I think. So Paul only had us, MeMe, and Grandpa after church on Wednesday. He had fallen asleep on the way home and Nathan had to wake him up. The highlight of the party (not really) to Paul was the new toys. Don't worry Paul next year's party will be different. He got a really cute homemade card Uncle James, Aunt Stephanie, and Sam. Thanks, He loved it and so did I.
He got a stuffed animal and truck from MeMe and Grandpa. New clothes from Aunt Heather , Uncle Chris, and the boys. And from us new clothes and a cool tool box that sings and lights up. This is all the cake and ice cream Paul got. DaDa did not want him to have the whole cake. We always did the small cake for the first birthday and just let the baby have at it. Not in the Wolfe house. Doesn't Paul look sad? He missed out. The 1 year stats will have to come later. The office was overbooked and I could not get an appointment till the end of April. Liz and I guessed on his weight and height. Weight about 21lbs and 31 inches long. AND STILL NOT WALKING.

March has just been crazy. Still working on the addition, then all the rain, Audriann went to the dentist for the first time. BAD report. She has 2 cavities. They have to be filled and capped. This is a Wolfe family trait Sonny tells Nathan. Great, Audriann screamed bloody murder in the office while they cleaned her teeth. At the next appointment she must be drugged. I am very nervous and not looking forward to taking her back on March 31st to get all the work done. Oh yea one more thing the cavities are on opposite side of the mouth so we have to do it twice. DNA what a blessing!!!

I will update soon with really cute Easter pictures from the Easter Lily fields.

March Madness Wolfe Style

No not basketball. Nathan decided we needed a storm shelter. I am still not sure what is more scary the shelter that he has fabricated or the tornado's themselves. Anyway he gets it done then it rains, and rains, and rains some more. No more shelter just a new swimming pool or shall we say mud pool. Never the less at least it does mean progress. I'm just more interested in when the rooms in the old garage start so Paul can have his own room. Anyone up for a dip?? LOL
This was the start of the storm shelter. Did I mention that it is about 7 or 8 feet deep and only 6x6 for the inside. It will be inside the garage and we will be entering this thing straight down from a hatch door. Maybe this will shed a little light on my fears. Still if it does keep us safe then my hubby was right for building the shelter. When the storms went through AR about a month ago it scared Nathan and he wants us to be safe if he is at the fire department.
